"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars Isn’t Enough for Lizz ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If excellence had a name tag, it would say Lizz. From the moment she greeted us, Lizz delivered elite, five-star, red-carpet service like she was running the restaurant and the universe. She was friendly without being fake, attentive without hovering, and somehow always appeared exactly when we needed something—as if summoned by pure customer satisfaction energy. Our drinks were never empty, our food arrived perfectly timed, and every question was answered with confidence, warmth, and a smile that could solve most of the world’s problems. She didn’t just take our order—she curated an experience. Honestly, Lizz didn’t serve us… she elevated us. If this restaurant knows what’s good for it, they’re protecting Lizz at all costs. Came for the food. Stayed for the service. Would return solely to be seated in Lizz’s section again. Give her a raise. Give her a trophy. Give her a cape."

"I really enjoy coming here and sitting outside. The patio area is perfect for winding down. Happy hour is a limited menu, but I enjoy the tempura shrimp and lettuce wraps. Just know your under trees and “might” have an unexpected quest"

"We love Wasabi DI. Best Happy Hour on the island. The service is great and the food is delicious. They have great drink selection and probably the best Ramen in town. Definitely a must try."

"Might just be the best sushi in the Charleston area and totally worth the trip to Daniel Island (they also have a MT. Pleasant location). Atmosphere is nice. Service is great. Food and drinks are spectacular. Completely fresh. The sushi roll combinations are interesting. The pad prik was really good... the steak was tender and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. We also ordered the udon noodles which were equally as delicious. I would definitely call before making a trip here just to make sure there isn’t an event happening at the stadium across the street. The restaurant can then be overcrowded and they sometimes offer a limited menu during concert/event nights. Oh and the outdoor music on the patio is a nice bonus!! This is really a great place."

"Wasabi Japanese restaurant review I had a solid experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was cool, we were given a private room which was nice because we were a pretty large party but I saw they had a fish tank and cool sushi bar. It wasn’t the warmest or most comfortable but it was solid for what I was looking for. I started with edamame and calamari. The calamari was small and flavorful while the edamame was pretty good compared to other edamame’s I’ve had in the past. The entrees that I ordered were the ny strip habachi and the baked crab speciality roll as well as the crispy crab roll. The ny strip habachi is where my food really shined. The soup and salad were wonderful and the steak was cooked perfectly. It was buttery and melted in my mouth. The fried rice and grilled vegetables added a lot to the meal. The down side was that there wasn’t much to write home about the sushi. I expected more from both sushi rolls and they were sub par. I have had intricate baked rolls before and the flavor felt mild at best. The service was also great, however I felt rushed to leave the restaurant although they weren’t very busy. All in all I had a great experience and the food was good enough to warrant a five star rating."
